Single-Lane Tripod Turnstile – Efficient and Compact Access Control
The single-lane tripod turnstile is an ideal solution for managing the movement of people entering and exiting offices, theaters, museums, amusement parks, and similar venues. Its elegant, rotating design ensures minimal space usage, making it well-suited for areas with limited capacity.
At the core of the device is an electromagnetic lock that ensures a long operational lifespan with minimal need for maintenance or part replacement—provided the unit is regularly serviced and powered via a UPS system to protect the electronics from power instability.
The turnstile can process between 25 and 35 people per minute (excluding card reading time). The mechanism operates smoothly and allows for fast and secure pedestrian flow in and out of controlled areas. However, it’s important to note that these are low-security turnstiles, primarily intended for use in spaces with on-site security personnel where guided and disciplined movement is required.
The device can be integrated with various access control systems such as proximity cards, biometric readers, barcode and QR code scanners, and facial recognition systems. In case of an emergency, the arms automatically drop to allow quick and unobstructed evacuation. Built-in LED indicators display “Access Granted” and “Access Denied” modes using green and red signals based on card authorization.

This model can handle between 30 and 40 people per minute (excluding card validation time).
The mechanism operates smoothly, allowing fast and secure pedestrian passage in and out of controlled zones.
However, it’s important to note that this is a low-security solution, intended for spaces where controlled and disciplined movement is required under the supervision of security personnel.
